Do You See What I See? Strange Formations of Clouds
A look at unusual cloud formation to see just what they can turn into.
Did you like looking at clouds as a child trying to pick out various shapes? For me it was a wonderful pastime. So let’s revisit our childhood again and see the wonderful shapes these clouds offer.
This cloud seems to be the shape of a dragon. Amazing what you can see when looking at clouds and just as amazing is the forms that they can take. This type of cloud has crepuscular rays of the sun that shines from the back of the cloud outlining the cloud all the more. Looks very forboding.

This cloud is unmistakable a cloud of love. This is the shape of a heart, very romantic. This could be a sign of fair or developing weather cumulus.

This one is beautiful and has taken the shape of a baby lion. This one is very beautiful. One of my favorites. This too, is a developing cumulus but so beautiful in its art form.

This one shows a hand reaching out which could be a cirrus or cumulus. How awesome is this one. It looks like the hand of God reaching out of the Heavens.

This one is somewhat the shape of a starfish filled with ligh from inside. This to, is cumulus but aircraft also interfere with clouds. This one’s beauty is added too by the light shining behind it.

This one shows what looks like a cross in the sky. This can give a person many thoughts on cloud formation. This to, is cumulus but aircraft also interfere with clouds. This one’s beauty is very stunning.

Could this be a bunny? Yes it is a bunny! Cloud formation is truly amazing. Again here is a cumulus cloud that has taken a very real form for anyone that sees it. Clouds can take very interesting forms.

This cloud shows a fish along with a beautiful sunset. Again here is a cumulus cloud that has taken a very real form for anyone that sees it. Clouds can take very fascinating. What a great combination!

This one takes the shape of a Hound Dog. It brings out the childhood memories that is in usall while gazing at cloud formations. This is another cumulus cloud. Only when these types are dark on the bottom that rain will fall.

This cloud took on the shape of a majectic Eagle. This is also illuminated by the sun at disk which adds to the beauty of this cloud.

There they are I hope you have enjoyed them as much as I did!. Clouds are white due to the water droplets that the clouds are made up of and scatter blue light. The cloud will reflect any visible color and this is what makes clouds so white. If a cloud is really thick light can’t penetrate through the clouds which give us a dark color cloud on the bottom.
Clouds are made up of nothing but water vapor that condenses into a visible form. The way that it works for moisture laden air is near the Earth’s surface to rise higher into the atmosphere either by the air mass or from the heat of the sun. As it rises the pressure will drop causing the air to cool . The combination of both of this causes water vapor to condense.
There you are now let your imagination run wild. Sit back and relax and enjoy.

Some of them might have been shopped to improve the focus of the shapes, but they are marvelous anyway.

Beauftiful and so unique! I still love looking at clouds…Southern California did not have the distinctive cloud formations that other areas have…Oregon is “cloud country” or so I thought until I viewed these lovely clouds. Nice pictures, and wonderful write up. Thanks for sharing (and sending a little ray of sunshine our way).
