Britain gets cool summers that are due to:

• Britain’s latitude being 50-60 degrees north, being a long way from the equator
• The cooling effect of the sea
• The prevailing wind from the cool sea

As well as cool summers Britain also get mild winters that are due to:

• The warming effect of the sea
• The prevailing wind from the warm sea

As many people know Britain get there fair bit of rain. Rain is the most towards the north and near the coast As seen on photo A:

Have you ever noticed that Britain as well as rainy is wind that because we are a small island that is in the middle of an ocean today the winds are North Eastly. As shown below:

As you can see nearer to the coast the colder it is as you can see on this picture the lighter the colour the colder it is and the darker the warmer.
