According to one study conducted by the Australian Association for Motor insurers (AAMI), men were more likely to take advantage of GPS navigation devices than women.
AAMI claims 64 percent of men using a navigation system, while only 50 percent were from women who depend on it.
Meanwhile, AAMI Corporate Affairs Manager, Reuben Aitchison refers to the old stereotype of men who are reluctant to ask for driving directions. “It’s like a self-esteem is sometimes more accurately described as stubborn,” he said.
It seems that the tendency of men take advantage of GPS devices related to its ability to operate a device. While women are generally reluctant to explore a powerful tool that he considered very complicated.
