Listen to the GPS in Your Head. What does it tell you to do? Do you listen to it or do you not?
Did you know that you have a GPS in your head? You need to listen to it. We all know how to operate the ones that get us from one state to the next or anywhere we need to travel. I wouldn’t go somewhere I didn’t know without one. I know for a fact I would get lost and even with them, they can still get you lost.
A GPS usually gives you the longest route and doesn’t always pick up on a new route. And then we have to backtrack and figure out where to go from there.
But there is also a GPS in your head that tries to tell you what to do next, how you might want to handle something, or what you need to say to someone.
It’s the signals in your brain that tells you that you need to do something. Maybe there is something that you’ve been wanting to do but you haven’t listened to the GPS in your head telling you need to so this thing for yourself or for someone else.
It’s the sparks of ideas that get the GPS going. Sending messages to our fingers where then they will do the typing and the talking.
It’s up to us to recognize when there needs to be something that needs to be changed. Don’t block out your GPS. Listen, learn and grow.
Let your GPS do the talking. Let your fingers do the walking. And watch your thoughts get recorded onto the screen and onto paper and then onto print.
How else do you think you will ever get yourself published if you won’t listen to the GPS in your head.
Keep the path open, the arteries clear, the heart pumping, food to the body, nourishment to your brain from your inspiration and others to keep your GPS up to date.
And for God’s sake, don’t lose your charger! Because someone else won’t let you borrow the GPS in their head. But they’ll share the one for the road.
