floods can happen any time of the year and when they happen they can take everything that stands in there path also they are the top weather related killer floods kills more people than tornadoes and hurricanes combined floods also helps in resupplying are lakes and rivers when they go dry floods also can turn deadly when too much rain falls all at one time floods starts when the ground can not hold any more water and when that happens the water runs off so fast that it causes the lakes and rivers to overflow there banks and they start to overflow onto the lowest parts of the river than rises into homes and backyards because all that water has no where to go but out so all that water starts to go into homes and any where else one overflowed river can cause a flood that is so dangerous that no one can swim in them when some one does try to swim in a flood they risk there own life and mostly they get killed because the water is too fast for them to swim in so they drown floods destroy everything even homes and property flood waters can go as high as the roofs of homes and can go beyond that and that’s why floods are so dangerous to people and should always never be played in or around
