If your are cooking, set of the fire immediately to prevent danger. If it is possible, run to open space.

2. In school.
Protect yourself by hiding under the table. Protect your head with bag or book. Do not be panic. If the shake is calmed down, move out in row toward the door, seek the open space, do not stand near any building, pole or tree.

6. In the train.
Hold pole in the train so you will not fall if the train is stopped suddenly. Do not be panic and listen to the explanation from the train officer. Misunderstand the explanation will cause panic.

When earthquake happens you will be difficult to control your car. When there is big shaking, you will be difficult to stop the car. You will loose control and it is difficult to drive the car. Go away from the road intersection, put your car in the left side of the road and stop the car. Follow the instruction from car radio. If you have to move out from the car, unlock it.

Thak you, Eunice. IWhere I live there are rarely earthquakes, just small tremors from far away – and they are rare. That means we don’t think about such dangers. It is important to be reminded now and then so we are not caught by surprise.
