Earth Energy Transfer
Some scientific facts that may assist you.
ALTITUDE, FOCUS, RANGE (Radiant Energy)
On Earth, there are shining places and areas, such as volcanic stones that cover, those reflect sunlight and warm the air (re-radiated energy), it also transfer energy towards the sky, some of which shoot into clouds that spread warmth, and some shoot to outer space. It also depends on altitude and range. When energy transfers, it can move anywhere. The energy will spread across, for example, when the beam of sunlight reflected back towards the sky, the energy slowly loses momentum because the energy spreads and moves apart thus making it weak and slow. It is caused by how far of the range is. We also see energy through altitude, if there is no sunlight the higher areas are cool are damp, because the sunlight is spreading towards some other place. But if there was sunlight, the heating will be fast and the higher areas warm up fast since there is less range between them. The Radiant Energy shone from the sun is unequal because the focus is on Earth’s Equator, also there are different areas and materials on Earth, so when the energy hits it, its heat capacity will slowly rise until it warms up, which takes time.
(Radiant Energy from the sun don’t warm up the Earth’s atmosphere much)
ELEMENTS, MATERAILS, CORE (Convection Currents)
Unequal warming (from the sun) of the atmosphere leads to small and large currents.
Small currents, such as sea breezes and land breezes, are caused by little difference heating. Thunderstorms are much larger currents. Largest of all are Earth’s great wind systems, such as trade winds. The winds and storms are elements and materials that give off spare energy. The convection currents can be spread and worked. The Earth’s core’s heat energy and waves can control the speed and power of the wind and creating storms by the clouds. These can be used as convection energy, for example, when the raindrops fall, the give their heat to the ground or sea. The energy is conducted and spread.
THERMAL ENERGY (Kenitic)
Thermal energy is defined as the sum of kinetic energy of random motion between the particles. Thermal Energy is kentic which means it is made up of movement and momentum. Component is the internal kinetic energy of the system—the energy the system contains at any moment due to the relative motion within the system of all its constituent parts. One thing to remember is that Internal energy is bigger concept than a thermal energy. Internal energy can be defined as sum of kinetic and potential energy of molecule. In the sense that thermal energy is a sum of kinetic energy in the molecule, the thermal energy and kinetic energy is proportional to each other.
There may be a constant interchange within the system of internal potential energy and internal kinetic energy. However, in any thermodynamically isolated system the total thermal energy (the sum of the internal potential energy and the internal kinetic energy) remains constant. In this context, the thermal energy of an ideal gas is only the sum of the kinetic energies of the idealised, volumeless particles which interact only with the walls of any container and not with each other so lack potential energy.
RADIATION, CONDUCTION, CONVECTION
Radiation is electromagnetic waves (kinetic energy) that directly transport energy through space. Sunlight is a form of radiation that is radiated through space to our planet without the aid of liquids or solids. The energy that travels through nothing. But once its light hits Earth, the sunlight gives off heat and light.
Conduction is the transfer of energy through matter from particle to particle. It is the transfer and supply of heat energy from particle to particle within a substance. For example, a spoon in a cup of hot soup becomes warmer because the heat from the soup is conducted along the spoon. Conduction is most effective in solids-but it can happen in liquids.
Convection is the transfer of heat by the actual movement of the warmed matter. Heat leaves as the liquid produces currents of steam and air rise. Convection is the transfer of heat energy in a gas or liquid by movement of currents. (It can also happen is some solids, like sand) The heat moves with the liquid.
