Hydrogen – 1
Hydrogen – 1 or protium also written as 1H.  This isotope of hydrogen is abundant in nature.  It consists of one proton and no neutrons.

Hydrogen – 2
Hydrogen – deuterium is 2 or a different isotope of hydrogen.  It is also written as 2H and “D” is also used as a symbol of deuterium.  Containing one proton and one neutron in the nucleus.  Deuterium is not radioactive molecule such as water molecules are enriched with heavy water 2H called.  Heavy water is used as a neutron moderator and coolant in nuclear reactors.

Hydrogen – 3
Hydrogen – 3 also known as tritium contains one proton and two neutrons in the nucleus.  It is also sometimes written as 3H and symbolically referred to as “T”.  This is a radioactive isotope of hydrogen to helium -3 broken by β-decay and half-life of 12.32 years.  It is often used as a selection of chemical and biological experiments.  Also used as a weapon of nuclear fusion and an indicator of isotope geochemistry.  You can learn more about chemistry.

Hydrogen – 4
4 or 4H Hydrogen is one of the most unstable isotopes of hydrogen.  Containing one proton and three neutrons in the nucleus.  Does not occur naturally and are synthesized by the bombardment of deuterium and tritium quickly.  Also known as Quadrium.  You can learn more about the radioactive isotopes in medicine.

Hydrogen – 5
Another unstable isotopes of hydrogen or 5H – 5  This radioactive isotope of hydrogen is synthesized by bombarding the nucleus of tritium with tritium fast.  Containing one proton and four neutrons in the nucleus.

Hydrogen -6
6 or 6H hydrogen has one proton and neutrons five.  The decomposition of hydrogen isotopes through triple neutron emission and has a half life of 3 x 10 -22 seconds.

Hydrogen – 7
Hydrogen – 7 or 7H contains one proton and 6 neutrons.
