Tiger Species

What’s one of your favorite animals? One of mine happens to be the Tiger. To me they seem very interesting. Everything about them is cool. Tigers are the largest of the Big Cats. They also have a very wide range of habitats. Most Tigers have an orange skin color. Except for like the White Tiger. Just like their name, They have a White skin color, which is kind of unique. Tigers also have black stripes running down their backs. A Tiger’s markings are never alike.

Tigers can get up to about 280 cm long. Their tail can get up to about 95 cm long. Their main prey is Pigs and deer. The Tiger is one of our most top predators. At about 10-11 months old, the baby tigers learn to hunt for their own food. Now, why have i told you all of this?

The reason I have said all of this is because of very important reasons, so listen closely. There is also another fact about Tigers. They are one of the most threatened animals. Yes that’s right, the tigers we all know and love are endangered! That’s not all, People also hunt tigers and use them for illegal wildlife trade!!

ONLY about 4,000 tigers remain in the entire world. Some Scientists also have discovered that the south China tiger may be EXTINCT!!!!! Three out of nine total tiger species have already gone extinct in the past century!! After all of this, people still hunt tigers and sell them illegally! But I haven’t given up hope. I still believe that if we all pay attention to what is happening in our world, we could do something about it. So, I made this article to tell everyone what is happening right now.
