I like snakes as long as they are not near me or can’t attack me.

Great job! A very informative article that confirms I should keep my good senses about me and not have them for a pet in my home. Lol! Nicely done.

Well done, another interesting article. I hate those albino pythons, I’ve seen them in the zoo and their skin is so transparent you can see their inards pulsing: disgusting!

Awesome photos and good piece! A note on rattlesnakes: the one you show is a Western Diamondback, and your description fits. But there are many varieties of rattlesnakes – over 20 I think – and some are very aggressive.

I think you should include the snake which only occurs on 1 island and only eats for a few weeks a year (sorry I can’t be more specific) if you do another one.

Great list, denus.

I really enjoyed this article, denus. Nice read! Occasionally black rat snakes will get into our chicken coop and eat the eggs. Not good. We have copperheads around where we live. We don’t kill them — they eat rats and mice — but if any come near the house I move them back out deep into the woods. Anyway, enjoyable article. Nicely done!

All snakes are good finds. I didn’t realize when you got famous with the snake articles.. Keep it up. I am also inspired to join stumbleupon.
The first type of snake eating its own eggs is a revelation. It’s hard to digest the picture, I don’t know how the snake digests the eggs!
