When it comes to Emperor scorpions, they can only be kept in groups if they are from the same litter. Emperors are quite vicious to other scorpions as well. As far as being venemous is concerned though, your half right. Emperors scorpions have very little venemosity and can be compared to a bee sting (like Delibo says) To be sure of how deadly the venom is, check the tail and pinchers. The fatter the tail the more
venom they generally have. you want BIG pinchers as opposed to be tails You said in your article that you only found out yesterday they can kill people? that means you haven't had enough time to thoroughly get correct information. Personally i have gone to Reptile zoo's and have talked to people that have owned them before, and understand them for my information. I suggest you do the same. Happy searching

You obviously don't know anything about scorpions! African Emperor scorpions are the LEAST of your worries. Your not a reputable source, so how dare you mislead information?
A lot of Zoo's carry them and give you better information, Don't listen to this hogwash!

Scorpions are becoming a popular choice for pets, in particular the emperor scorpion. They are relatively easy to care for, can grow up to six inches long, and have a lifespan of about six to eight years.

The invertebrate animal is not especially dangerous in comparison with other scorpion species. Their sting can be likened to a bee sting and not usually requiring medical attention. However, like bee stings, there are people who may be allergic to the venom. The emperor scorpion may also pinch owners. Handling of pet scorpions is not recommended, due to these reasons, but also because it can cause stress to the pet. Forceps with foam are recommended for picking up the scorpion when necessary.

Emperor scorpions require very specific housing specifications. Proper heat and humidity are key. A glass aquarium tank makes the best housing with a tight secure lid. A ten gallon tank is perfect for one emperor scorpion. They can be kept in groups, though a large tank is necessary if housing more than one. They also require hiding spots, which can be created out of pottery, bark or other decorative (animal-safe) objects.

An article written by a moron. Doesn't matter about grammar the whole fact that your information is wrong. Fattail and Death Stalker are basically the 2 most venomous because of their powerful neurotoxins. I rather walk through 10 aggressive emperor scorpions than a fattail and death stalker.

Please check your grammar before you publish.

"It is not the most venomous and deadliest one". Which is it?

"If it beats someone, it can kill him in ten minutes". Bites? "someone . . . him"? Arg!

PS: If English is not your first language, I apologize.
