In interpersonal relations was marked by various activities, whether the activity generated by purely instinctive or even a specific learning process. Various activities of individuals in interpersonal relations are usually called social behavior.
Krech et. al. (1962:104-106) reveals that in order to understand the social behavior of individuals, can be seen from the trends in the characteristics of interpersonal response, which consists of: (1) The tendency Role (Role Disposition); that inclination which refers to the duties, obligations and held the position of an individual, (2) The tendency Sosiometrik (Sociometric Disposition); that inclination linked with joy, confidence in the other individual, and (3) expression of (Expression Disposition), which is linked with a tendency to display behaviors and expressions of self-habit typical (particular fashion).
Further elaborated that the trend is also the role (Role Disposition) there are also four bipolar tendencies, namely:
A. Ascendance-Social Timidity,
Ascendance is a tendency showing confidence, with the opposite direction, namely social timidity and fear of embarrassment when dealing with others, especially those not yet known.
2. Dominace-Submissive
Dominace is a tendency to dominate others, with submissive tendencies opposite direction, that is easy to give up and submit to the treatment of others.
3. Social-Social Initiative passivity
social initiative, namely the tendency to lead others, with the opposite direction of the trend of social passivity of passive and indifferent.
4. Independent-Depence
Independent is to be free from the influence of others, the opposite direction of dependence is the tendency to rely on others
Thus, the social behavior of individuals seen from the tendency of the role (role disposition) can be said to be adequate, when showing the characteristics of interpersonal responses as follows: (1) confident of his ability to get along socially, (2) has a strong influence of peers; (3) capable of leading a group of friends, and (4) is not easily influenced by others in the mix. In contrast, the social behavior of individuals said to be lacking or inadequate when showing the characteristics of interpersonal responses as follows: (1) mingle socially disadvantaged, (2) to give up easily and is subject to the treatment of others, (3) passive in managing groups, and (4) depends on other people when going to perform an action.
Trends are the outcome and the influence of factors konstitutsional, growth and development of individuals in a particular social environment and the experience of failure and success in the past behaved
