Polar Bears Combating The Pollutants in The Arctic
Polar bears have been target of incessant pollution over a century and they are at present one of the most polluted living beings of the world.

Polar bears are so lovely and charming that one will obviously desire to have them as a pet. But they are pets of nature and one should like them live and play in their natural settlements only. But polar bears have been target of incessant pollution over a century and they are at present one of the most polluted living beings of the world.

(Polar bears depend on sea ice as a platform for hunting seals. Large feet and short, stocky claws are adaptations to this environment.)
Effect of global warming is now open to all. Much of the ice is melting in the Arctic regularly. The Arctic has been injured silently by man-made pollutants decades after decades. Polar bears have been under seized and they are not in a state to adjust with the unfavorable environment as fast as it is needed now.

(Polar bears have evolved unique features for Arctic life, including furred feet that have good traction on ice.)
Iodine, bromine, chlorine, halogens-fluorine and carbon and their different compounds have been intruded to the North Pole for a long period and rate of such intrusion has ever been increasing. Because of industrial adventures of the modern civilization the Arctic has to receive and store varieties of adhesives and coatings, pesticides, refrigerants and compounds of similar or dissimilar characteristics. Polar bears have to bear the brunt of such pollutants.

(Polar bear males frequently play-fight. During the mating season, actual fighting is intense and often leaves scars or broken teeth.)
Ice in the Arctic is melting at a rate much higher than ever before. Ice in the Arctic is melting at a rate of 2.7 percent every decade. Polar bears are in the process of experiencing certain changes in their physique. Scientists have observed that the skulls of the polar bears have reduced in size by about 9 percent. Ice is melting more quickly and this demands exhaustion of more energy from the polar bears for their sustenance, that is, they are to spend more time and energy for hunting and finding food. Increase in the chemical pollutants has disturbed formation and growth of their bones. Pollutants with chlorine-compounds have affected the female bears in the sphere of fertility. Hunters too have played destructive role in the Arctic.

(Mothers and cubs have high nutritional requirements, which are not met if the seal-hunting season is too short.)
Should we not take this seriously and should we not do something to save one of our most fantastic neighbors on the earth?
