No More Fish for Me!

Many years ago my two kids thought they were being cool when they gave me some fish in an aquarium as their gift for my birthday.  They know that I am fond of pets but I’m basically a dog person and I only buy fish by the kilo to be cooked for lunch or dinner.  I never fancied having any fish as  pet because how does one “pet” a fish? So instead of being happy, I was grumbling because now I’d have additional chores to do like feeding and maintaining the fish! It was all so much hassle for me to be having some live fish around the house because I believe that they should be swimming in the sea and not in some small container which needs to be cleaned every now and then. Oh well, the fish eventually died and when they thought of replacing them, I adamantly said no, no more fish for me.
