Most Poisonous Animals
The most poisonous animals, some are poisonous even though you don’t expect it!
In the world there are many animals that are dangerous.
Even though there are many dangerous ones there are animals that are more dangerous that one other.
In this list I will show you the most dangerous animals in the world.
Poison dart frog.

The poison dart frog is, like the name says, an animal that is very poisonous.
The name origins from the use of these animals.
In Africa they are used by humans to hunt monkeys.
First they take a little dart, they roll it over the frog and then shoot it at a monkey which will die.
It only takes 2 micro gram(0.000002 gram) of its poison to kill a human.
But you don’t have to worry much about getting attacked by an poison dart frog since they are afraid of humans just like any other frog.
They use their poison as an offensive weapon to catch preys like ants.
Although they are so poisonous they still have natural enemy’s.
One of them is the Amazon ground snake which have developed the ability to withstand the poison.

King Cobra.

The King Cobra is worlds longest poisonous snake.
It can grow up to 5.7 meters long, which is as long as 3 average adults.
It likes to live in highland forests and prefers some streams as well.
Due the destruction of forests the King Cobra is getting rarer which is a shame.
Although it is getting rarer it isn’t listed by the IUCN as an as an species that is in danger of getting extinct just yet.
King Cobras can spot a prey at almost 100 meter distance.
King Cobras like to eat other snakes, both venomous and non-venomous.
This predator is getting attacked by other animals as well.
The cute Mongoose has developed a little resistance against the poison of the King Cobra.
If the King Cobra encounters a Mongoose it will try to flee, if that doesn’t work it will make itself big and show the Mongoose his ribs, however the Mongooses mainly aren’t impressed and eat them.

Box jellyfish.

This jellyfish is one of the most poisonous animals on earth, not as poisonous as the poison dart frog but has caused more recorded deaths.
It has caused around 5500 recorded deaths since 1954.
Although its poison isn’t as dangerous as the poison dart frog’s, its more painful.
The poison directly attacks the heart, the nerve system and destroys the skin cells.
It also is so painful that most people get in shock or drown on the spot.
Even if you survive the attack of the box jellyfish you will experience the pain until weeks after.
Surviving an attakc of this animal is virtually not possible.
However you might be able to survive it if you are treated directly but that is very unlikely.
If you live in Europe, Africa or America you shouldn’t be too scared of it since it only lives in the seas of Asia and Australia.
Marbled Cone Snail

Huh!?
A snail?
Yes, a snail is one of the most poisonous animals on earth.
This beautiful snake is a very dangerous animal, if you touch it you most likely die.
You see, one drop of its poison is enough to kill 20 humans.
If you ever are swimming in warm salt water and see one of these don’t pick them up or you are likely to be killed by a snail.
The poison will cause heavy pain and might cause your muscle’s to paralyse or stop your breathing.
The time until these symptons show up can be a few days, don’t get your hopes up however, there is no antidote for this snails poison.
Although there is no antidote there only have been around 30 recorded deaths.
Blue-Ringed Octopus

This octopus is a very small animal.
It is only about as large as a golf ball.
But in that little golf ball is enough poison to kill 25 adult humans in a matter of minutes.
The worse has yet to come: there is no antidote for the poison of this octopus.
If you get bit by one you think it didn’t hurt but directly after you will find out that your muscles are feeling weaker and weaker and unfortunatly your heart exists out of muscles too!
Puffer fish.

The second most poisonous animal on earth.
The meat of some of the puffer fish are a delicacy in Japan.
Sometimes people that eat it die from it because it wasn’t prepared well or it was just bad luck.
The poison of the puffer fish has many symptomps: deadening of the tongue and lips, dizziness, vomiting, rapid heart rate, difficulty breathing, and muscle paralysis.
Most people die from it’s poison within 24 hours.
There is no antidote for his poison or at least not yet.
This was the list of the most poisonous animals on the world.
Of course there are many more animals that are poisonous and can kill people.
I hope you enjoyed it, if you did read some of my other articles.

I think this site is a small example of why so many people are misinformed these days about almost anything. They think that because it’s printed somewhere on the internet, it must be true. I couldn’t even get past most of the article because of all of the untrue statements. Poison dart frogs live in Central and South America. They don’t use their toxins to catch prey or use it offensively. There is a difference between poisonous and venemous. Etc. etc. etc. I really hope this was just some childs attempt at a school paper, but even so, it shouldn’t be posted on the internet for people to read and become misinformed.
