Do Animals Have Feelings?
Be careful in the way you treat your pets because they may feel sad or angry, just as we do!
A team from the University of Cambridge did this experiment:
They put a group of cows in a fence where there was a leaver. If the animals pushed it correctly, then they could enter a field full of tasty food.
The cows needed some time to get the idea. When the cows finally got to understand the mechanism, the scientists observed signs of satisfaction. The heart frequency of the animals, and their potential to jump to where the food was, increased.
This and other experiments led the team to consider that animals do have feelings that should be respected, just like humans. This is one of the most interesting and important aspects of biology and scientists really want to get more answers.
It is also known that hens have hierarchy positions within their pairs. This demonstrates that they feel respect, as well as admiration and feelings for the other half of their pairs.
New experiments are being held with monkeys, due to their similarity to the human anatomy.
So be careful in how you treat your pets because they may get hurt emotionally.

I have always believed that animals are more “human” than people think or want to admit.
Thanks for sharing your article!
Best wishes!

I think that animals have feelings, but I disagree with using the two examples this page offers as viable explanations. The cow example seems to be more like Adaptive Behavior. The hen example is a Dominance Hierarchy, used for pack survival. With that in mind. I’m sure feelings to come into play.

those are not feelings, they’re conditioning

Animals do have feelinqs. They also have emotions. How can any scientist prove this? Its not loqic! You just qot to understand the way a doq reacts do different thinqs! The human brain makes thinqs more complicated then what they really need to be! How can a human determine if an animal has a soul? How do we even know that we have souls? There is NO answer to anythinq! You just have to qo with the flow, and believe your own facts from all the research that you have done! Life is an amazinq thinq…And I think we need to explore it more, but not in a complicated manor.

Yes! Animals have feelings!
They can cry!
They can frighten!
I ever have a pet like a dog, a rabbit, a bird, a fish, a cat etc
My dog always want to beside me, when I came home it awake even before it slept. He looks happy when I am nearby, even I never gave it foods.
My rabbit could go to my room and came if I called its name.
My bird could come even I freed it.
I ever help a cat and it followed me.
I ever saw many animals that cry because of human!
