A Shark Has No Swim Bladder: Nature is Really Amazing

Animals facts about the animals that few people think about unless they run into one.
Did you know a shark has no swim bladder? Here are some amazing facts.

Isn’t it amazing how nature is truly amazing?

Animals are able to do many wonderful and amazing things!”

Like a polar bear  did you know that he is able to cover his black nose with his white paw? This makes the bear harder to be spotted by its pray.

The house fly travels at speeds of 4.5 miles per hour and is able to fly upside down. Imagine flying that fast being that small and being able to fly upside down if you want to. “now that is talent”.

The adult mayfly lives one day, this day is spent courting and mating.

A cheetah can go from 0 to 40 miles per hour in two seconds: Boy we sure could save gas if we could do that (smile)

A shark has no swim bladder, is heavier than water and must swim constantly in order to keep his position. Also a sharks teeth regrow, in a ten year time frame a shark could have shed 20,000 teeth or more.

Glowworms and fireflies produce heat less light. The females of most firefly breeds do not fly. In order for her to attract her mate she crawls up on a blade of grass and flashes in order to get his attention. Each type of firefly has its own flashing signals. When a female has mated, she tries to copy the flash signal of another species in order to attract a mate, when the new potential mate arrives the female tries to eat him.

I just wanted to share a few things that are so amazing in nature. The list goes on and on, nature is a wonderful place to explore and is almost always never quite the same from day to day. Take the time to enjoy its beauty, you will never regret seeing and hearing the sights and sounds of nature.
