11 Ridiculously Cute and Cuddly Zoo Babies Throughout the Globe

Whether you are a mother yourself, an animal lover, or a great crusader trying to protect these marvelous creatures; you just can help but adore them.

Every year, zoo’s around the country rescue these infants from a world that is both superficial and precarious. Most of them are abandoned by their parents and left to survive with no learned instincts or resources.

I am so grateful that these types of establishments are in existence to prolong the life of so many of these endangered and unfortunate animals.

Enjoy your tour!

Baby Macaque

The zoo in Suzhou, China is home to this adorably cute baby macaque. This zoo, which is situated in the Jiangsu province, is home to several endangered and rare species.

King Penguin

The Cincinnati Zoo welcomed a new baby on July 30. This two week old king penguin named “Kyoto” was the second of its kind hatched at Cincinnati Zoo. These animals originate from Sub-Antarctic Island groups and are known to be excellent deep water divers.

Maned Wolf Pups

These endangered maned wolf pups were bred in Louisville Zoo upon a “recommendation from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums Species Survival Plan (SSP).” Three adorable babies were born, one being a male and two females. These pups are usually found in Bolivia, Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay however, due to the devastation in their native home, most can be found in zoos around the world. There are only close to 100 in existence today.

Lion Cub

This charming female cub calls the Virginia Zoo her home in Norfolk. She looks like she’s quite happy and content in her new digs.

Giant Panda Cub

San Diego Zoo, home to some of the rarest and most beautiful species on earth, houses this endearing four month old giant panda cub named “Zhen Zhen”.

Spider Monkey

Spider Monkeys could quite possibly be the cutest monkeys around and this 2-month-old black-handed spider monkey would prove that fact. Housed at the Ueno Zoo in Tokyo, these monkeys are just a taste of the zoo babies found in this location. The zoo was founded in 1882, and since then has grown to house over 2600 hundred animals and over 450 different species.

White Tiger

Big eyes indeed! This 2 month old white tiger baby is calling the Chhatbir Zoo, in the Indian state of Punjab his home. “Gulla”, unfortunately was abandoned by his mother at birth but, the keepers were able to foster this lovely creature back to a normal and happy life. “This zoo has been at the forefront of housing Bengal Tigers and many others since 1978″.
African Bat-Eared Fox

Another wonderful addition to the Sandiego zoo, these South African bat eared fox kits born in April are found relaxing in their birthing area but, on occasion make special appearances for the public.

African Lion Cubs

These cute Male African lion cubs are housed at the zoo in Gianyar, Bali. Bali Zoo houses over 350 different species of animals and is surrounded by lush tropical landscaping that is helpful to the development of these animals.

Polar Bear Cub

Chicago’s Brookfield Zoo in Brookfield, Ill is the home to this 4-month-old polar bear cub. This is the mother’s fifth child and as it seems, she is just as in love with it as the first.

Celebes

Is that the face of an angel? This endearing 3 week old Celebes is housed at a zoo in Decin, Prague. He was subject to refusal from his mother so keepers are inevitably faced with caring for the infant.

Chameleon

Who knew they could be this small? This chameleon infant is being held at the zoo in Debrecen, Hungary. “This is the first time this species of raptors successfully propagated themselves in this zoo.”

Lemur Babies

Sacramento Zoo is home to these cute lemur babies who were born on May 4th. These delightful creatures are known to be excellent acrobats so they are set up with a lovely playground consisting of hammocks and ropes. They love to put on a show!

My fiance said the same thing. I wanted to reach through the screen and hug them all, with the exception of the lizard. I don’t like them either.
