1.) Giraffe – 20 Ft Tall
Undoubtedly, Giraffes are the tallest of all land-living creatures on Earth. This well-known African mammal is also the largest ruminant.
It can attain a towering height of 5.2 meters. The tallest recorded height of a Giraffe is almost 6 meter or about 20 ft tall.
2.) African Elephant – 13 Ft Tall
With a height of 4 meters or 13 ft tall, the African Elephant – the world’s largest land animal, is the second tallest animal in the world. Females can attain height of up to 8.5 ft.
3.) Asian Elephant – 12 Ft Tall
The Asian Elephant is the 3rd tallest animal in the world. It is slightly smaller than the African Elephant. It can grow up to 3.6 meters tall or equivalent to 11.8 ft tall. The world record height of an Asian Elephant is 3.7 meters or 12 ft at the shoulder.
4.) Ostrich – 9.2 Ft Tall
Unbelievable it may seem but the 4th tallest creature on Earth is a bird, it’s the Ostrich. Yes, an Ostrich can reach a towering height of up to 9.2 ft tall or 2.75 meters. A female Ostrich can attain a height of 6 ft and 7 in tall.
5.) Man – Robert Pershing Wadlow – 8’11” Tall
Biblically speaking, the tallest man to have ever lived in the world is Goliath. He was 9 feet 9 inches tall. Historically, Robert Pershing Wadlow (1918 – 1940) is the tallest man. He was 2.72 meters tall or 8 ft 11 in tall.
6.) Moose – 7.6 Ft Tall
The 6th tallest animal in the world is the Moose. The Alaskan sub-species of a Moose can attain height of 2.1 meters or 7 ft at the shoulder. On average, a Moose – largest deer in the world stands 1.8 m or 6–7 ft tall at the shoulder. The largest specimen on record was 233 cm tall or 7.6 ft high.
