The Raccoon is a member of the mammal family and is easily distinguishable because of its white and black face. The length of this animal is 580 millimetres and can weigh up to a maximum of 20 pounds. Most commonly this species of mammal is found in North America and Panama.
During the gestation period of 70 days the female Raccoon can produce a total of 6 young. The life expectancy for this mammal is 14 years and they reach their sexual maturity at the age of 1. This animal can be caught rummaging through your garbage and will attack your house hold pet.
