World’s Largest Venomous Snake.
The King Cobra is the world’s longest venomous snake, at 18 feet long. This snake is mostly found in India and South East Asia. This Cobra can be very agile and agressive. The Cobra has very dangerous poison and is one of the most dangerous Snakes to Humans. The King Cobra is part of the Elapidae family. The skin of the Cobra is either Olive greenish or black. It also can be a dark tan color.
The King Cobra’s diet consists mostly of eating other snakes. Which makes the snake part of the Ophiophagus family. The King Cobra is very different when it comes to reproduction. Unlike most other snakes, the female King Cobra stays with it’s eggs until they hatch.
When many people think of the King Cobra they think of snake charmers making the snake rise. This is actually a true performance done by female Snake Charmers in India. The King Cobra is still very dangerous even when the snake charmers are trying to tame it.
