The Green Iguana is a member of the reptile family and is easily distinguishable because of its distinct green colour and bands around the body. The length of this animal is 6 feet and can weigh up to a total of 14 pounds. Most commonly this species of Iguana is found in tropicalrain forests.
During the incubation period of 3 months the female Green Iguana can produce a total of 48. The life expectancy of this animal is 14 years and it reaches its sexual maturity at the age of 3. Iguanas can hold their breath up to 30 minutes.
