The Demoiselle crane is most commonly found in either Africa or Asia depending on what time of year it is. There are plenty of these birds in the world and their conservation status is of least concern. They travel with a flock of up to 401 birds during the migration months.
The highest in the air that these birds can go is 20,000 feet. On their route between Africa and Asia they stop in Indonesia where the villages feet them on an annual schedule. They can usually be found around rivers because they like to live during a source of water at all times.
