The 3 Fastest Animals on Earth

Land, ocean, and skies these three animals can beat anyone in a race. My bets are on them 1/1 chance of them winning.

Fastest Animal on Land

Of course everyone should know that the Cheetah is the fastest animal on land. Hitting speeds of up to 70 miles per hour, the Cheetah can hunt down prey very easily. But, like all great sprinters they have to stop every once and a while. Cheetah’s can only run at top speed for about 30 seconds.

Fastest Animal in the Air

The Peregrine Falcon is the fastest bird in the skies and fastest living thing on this Earth. In a dive the Peregrine Falcon can reach a max speed of 200 miles per hour, almost three times as fast as the Cheetah. The falcon also lives in the most places then any other living thing (besides humans) covering the entire planet except for the Arctic poles and some tropical rain forests.

Fastest Animal in the Ocean

Finding out the fastest fish in the seas is a very difficult task because the oceans are so vast and they are relatively unknown. We only know of about 50% of all fish. But the fastest KNOWN fish is the sailfish. The sailfish, more commonly refereed to as a sword fish, can swim at a max speed of 65 miles per hour or a little less then a Cheetah. They are fantastic fish and not even Michael Phelps could beat one of these guys.

The swift is faster than the falcon. The falcon is only faster in a dive.
