Rainforest Animals
There are many different kinds of animals on earth. Many of these animals, live in a rainforest habitat. The rainforest is a beautiful kind of place. I will tell you about some of the animals that live there.
The Rain forest
The rain forest is a very peaceful and amazing place. It contains thousands of different creatures and habitats. There is a massive variety in animals that live there. It is a very wet and humid region. Many of our rain forests, today, are being destroyed and many animals are losing their natural homes. We need to step up and fight for our planet!

Red-Eyed Tree Frog
The Red-Eyed tree frog is a very unique amphibian. They have reddish eyes, and have green skin. They also eat mostly insects (like most amphibians). Most frogs tend to lay their eggs underneath leaves. Also, they do not get very big (usually 2cm-3cm).

Boa Constrictor
Boa Constrictors are very long and large snakes. They get the name “constrictor”, because they squeeze their prey, to death, before eating it. They normally feed on small rodents, as well as birds. Their habitat is normally in a tree or on the ground. Their average length is about 14-15cm.

Spider Monkey
Spider Monkeys are usually larger than your average chimpanzee. They grow to about 2-3ft tall and have tall, slender bodies. Like most monkeys, they can climb and swing on trees. They also eat many different fruits, insects, and seeds, like most other monkeys.

Macaw
Macaws are definitely my favorite of the rain forest animals. They are very beautiful birds. They are the largest of all parrots. Their tails are extremely long, usually longer than their own body. They also have curved beaks, which are perfect for picking nuts, seeds, and fruit from different areas.
