Nitrous Oxide Effects on Human Body

Nitrous oxide, also known as nitrous oxide or N2O, is a colorless, odorless gas that is used to sedate patients prior to dental surgery. It is also used in baking industry as a fuel for the whipped cream and other ingredients. The effect of inhalation has been described as euphoric, and has been in use since late 1700. These euphoric effects have led to abuse of gas, and regulation of sales and penalties for illegal sales.

Feeling
*Nitrous oxide effects last only one or two minutes, much smoother after button, which can last several minutes.  The gas is causing tension in the body, causing laughter and dizziness and can be described as a ” happy drunk ” feeling.  It can also lead to the vision, and pulsating auditory hallucinations.
Numbness
*When nitrous oxide is administered in combination with oxygen for a period of time begins to numb the senses and the body.  Pain threshold of the body is much higher.  This makes it ideal for oral surgery little gas there a lot of heavy sedation is required.

*Inhaling nitrous oxide can be very confusing effects, which can cause slips, falls and other injuries.  The gas stored in tanks at a temperature cold enough to cause burns, which can cause damage to the mouth or lungs.  The long-term use and abuse can lead to a variety of physiological and neurological problems.  Nitrous oxide should be administered only by licensed professionals and trained.
