Nature’s Window
I love being outside in the morning…
The morning breeze carrassing my skin as I look towards the horizon.
It is a beutiful day, the sun has not yet gotten hot and the air is crisp, the refreshing scents of nature ease my soul. Freshly cut grass and the smell of apples beginning to ripen… the creek is swift and clear as the fish dance about in the sunshine’s rainbow.
The barn swallows are busily gathering twigs and insects… and the wasp has just gone for another bit of mud to make it’s nest.
The coyotes have all slipped into their dens for a good day’s sleep and the wood chucks are enjoying the morning’s safety.
I can hear the crows calling back and forth from the field, my how tall the corn is already this year!
The sky is brilliant blue with wisps of white clouds lazily drift along the highway of the suns rays, it seems as though I could go forever into the sky…
The grass beneath my bare feet is a cool carpet of life, ants and spiders amke their way through the forest of grass…so very busy they prepare for the months of winter although summer has just begun.
I sit and admire this view, a window in nature that inspires and awes me as the day begins anew.
From where I sit, it is merely a windo, I can not see all that nature has to offer but I sure do enjoy the view from this window I am in.
