My Own Theory of Evolution or Natural Selection

Nowadays we can all say we have heard of charles darwin and his theorys on evolution or natural selection, So i decided that i would put my voice to it aswell and share my ideas with you, Seeing that is all it really is (ideas) I am sure i will get lots of arguements from it.

My idea is that in todays world and societys natural selection doesnt happen as it once did, I am thinking that these days we dont evolve but we adapt, We have adapted to this technological world not evolved, We have adapted to living in the light compared to living in more or less dark conditions in the 13th or 14th centuarys for example. I am pretty sure that our eyes will have adapted a miniscule bit if not more. I think that nowadays there are 2 types of evolution/ adaptation, The first of these is forced evolution / Adaptation where an animal is forced to adapt to survive, say for example if an animals natural habitat is destroyed it adapts or dies, The second i think is awareness adaptation, For higher thinking animals such as humanoids i think that we adapt when our brain realises that there would be an advantage to doing it. So if i saw a way to make money for example in writing these articles, i would forceor adapt my way to learning to write these ideas and then learn from it, eventually adapting to do it as natural as any other ability.
