The Wonderful Cell
The cell is extraordinary.
The cell is immensely complex, the instructions within the DNA of the cell is extraordinarily infinite.
Cell via Wikipedia
The number the cells in our organism is extremely large in number, each cell is admirable with trillions atoms and molecules, each cell is appeared like a city, power plants generate energy, factories produce proteins, complex transportation systems guide specific chemical from point to point within the cell, biological armies stand ready to struggle with invaders, a centralized genetic government maintains order.
A typical cell is composed of: Cell Membrane, Ribosomes, Nucleus, Chromosomes, Nucleolus, Endoplasmic Reticulum, Mitochondria, Golgi Body, Centrioles.
Cell Membrane
The covering that controls what enters and leaves the cells is composed of a double layer.
Ribosomes
Structures on which amino acid are assembled into proteins.
Nucleus
Enclosed in a double membrane envelope, it is the control center that directs the activities of the cell.
Chromosomes
They contain the DNA, its genetic master plan.
DNA via Wikipedia
Nucleolus
The site where ribosomes are assembled.
Endoplasmic Reticulum
Sheets of membranes that store or transport the proteins made by the ribosomes attached to them, some ribosomes float free in the cell.
Mitochondria
Production centers for ATP, the molecules that supply energy for the cell.
Golgi Body
A group of flattened membrane sacs that package and distribute proteins made by the cell.
Centrioles
They lie near the nucleus and are important in cell reproduction.
The cell is a living structure extraordinary, is extremely complex composed of many interrelated parts that cause existence of all living organism.
