Sea Creature: Explore the Possibilities for Alien Life on Earth
Do you believe that alien can lives among us? Scientists explore the possibilities for alien life in Earth through some of this creature.
Weedy Sea Dragon

This remarkable creature is not much use in a flight. It has a few spiny plates, but these do little more than give it a crunchy sensation in the mouth of a predator. In order to survive in the dangerous ocean it has evolved camouflage that makes it almost invisible. On other worlds we are likely to discover aliens whose camouflage makes them almost indistinguishable from their surroundings.
Octopus

Able to change color at will and alter its skin texture to blend in with its surroundings, the octopus also has two hearts, eight tentacles and a parrot-like beak. Octopuses thrive in almost every ocean in the world, and some people say they are more intelligent that dogs. Some forms of intelligence are more widespread among Earth creatures that we once thought, so what are the possibilities on alien worlds?
Gulper eel

The gulper eel is a custom-built eating machine. This deep sea trawler swims with its massive jaws wide open, hovering up anything it can find 6.5km down at the bottom of the ocean. Like some ‘aliens’ in science fiction, the gulper eel can unhinge its jaw and swallow prey larger than itself.
Cuttlefish

You can tell a cuttlefish’s mood from the way it changes color. In an instant it can go from camouflaged hunter to amorous show-off, flashing patterns and stripes along its body. It has evolved the ability to change its appearance for the two most important things any creature needs to do – finding food and having offspring. Creatures on alien worlds may communicate their thoughts and feelings via their own personal lightshow.

Great pictures, and the information was good, too. There is so much we don’t know about our own planet. It’s amazing! Thanks for sharing.

Great article. How do we know we don;t have alians with us now?

I love the eel!.. technically, if these creatures are endemic to earth, then they cannot be considered aliens. Even if they were descendants of aliens, they still are first to appear on earth before humans.. just my thoughts..

“On other worlds we are likely to discover aliens whose camouflage makes them almost indistinguishable from their surroundings.”
Are you kidding? How do you know what we will “likely” discover on other worlds?
And there is no way ‘Scientists’ (kinda arbitrary term you threw around there, no?) are looking for alien life at the bottom of the ocean. By definition, alien life is not of this planet.
These fundamental problems coupled with the fact that this article is riddled with mistakes, lead me to believe that you slapped this together from a Wikipedia article.
Shame on you.

Just a minor typo in the Gulper Eel part. May be you have to change “large than itself” into “larger than itself”.
Nice photograph and articles otherwise
