The great white shark is one of the most ferocious animals in the world. But it is also one of the most misunderstood animals in the world.

• The great white is commonly known as a man eater for there have been a series of shark attacks all over the world and especially in Australia



• All the attacks by the great white have been proved to be attacks not done on purpose. The great white does not have a very good vision, in fact it has a very poor vision.
• What the great white sees is a shape very much similar to the shape of a seal and therefore confuses us with the seal which happens to be on the great white’s diet



• The shark does not like man flesh so many attacks are in fact mere bites. It often releases the man after a second because it does not like its taste.
• Therefore, the great white’s are not a primary danger to humans.
