Tenggarong, KOMPAS.com – Kukar Police seized important documents are expected to reveal the slaughter of the most relevant responsible parties orangutans in East Kalimantan, an official report of payment of wages “pest eradication” (rare primates) by PT Khaleda Agroprima Malindo (KAM).
“A number of relevant evidence which had been confiscated orangutans massacre, including official report documents of the payment of wages pest extermination (orangutan) by PT KAM,” said Police Chief Inspector General Bambang Widaryatmo Kaltim in a press conference related to the orangutan massacre that occurred in the Puan Cepak village, District of Muara Kaman, Kutai Regency, Tuesday (22/11/2011).

Based on the confession of two arsonists, the slaughter of orangutans on the verbal orders of the POA, Garden Manager of PT KAM, and ARU, General Manager of PT KAM, making arrests and killings of orangutans in a way paralyzing with a pellet gun and then arrested with a rope noose.

We are also still pursuing pest hunter team leader who is guessed to have fled from the Kalimantan island,” said police chief.
