Sneezing: The Final Mystery
Sneezing, it has given us a relief all the time and finally, one scientist can tell us the reason for why this is.
Your body makes you sneeze because there is a chemical, a virus or something that has gone into your body. Sneezing is one way to make it come out. You have tiny little sensitive hairs which stop the dirt and the viruses and trap them in your nose, so they can’t get inhaled into your lungs. One way to get the dirt and the viruses out that are trapped in your nose are sneezing.
You use a lot of muscles when you sneeze, these muscles include stomach muscles, chest muscles, the muscles in your throat and vocal cords, face muscles and eye muscles.
Facts:
- Did you know that the fastest timed sneeze ever is 165km an hour.
- You can’t control yourself sneezing.
- You can’t keep your eyes open if you are performing a real sneeze.
- It has been a mystery for ages why people sneeze when they go into the sun. Some scientists have come up with theorys that might suggest that the sunlight triggers something in your brain to make you sneeze.
Sneezing have amazed scientests and people for ages, and it really is a relief now we can tell why.
