Senses

Which sense is important. Sight? Touch? Smell? Hear? Taste?

To me all the senses are important because we use all of our senses every day. The most important sense to me is sight. Sight would the most important because if we couldn’t see anything your life would be so boring. For example, if you were to go to Disney Land, you would not be able to see the wonderful rides. On the other hand you can still feel by using the sense touch, listen to stuff by using your sense of hear, you can sniff the stuff around you by using you sense of smell, and you can taste the food around you by using the sense of taste.

I use sight everyday and there is not one day that I did not use my sense of sight. I use my sense of sight for a lot of things. For example, I used my sense of sight to write this essay. I use my sense of sight when I am eating my food because I want to check what I am eating. If it has something that I don’t like then I will just put it away and ask for something else. If you are blind then your life will be pretty hard. If you are blind you have to feel Braille to read. Braille’s are tiny plastic dots that stick out of plastic. In order to read Braille you have to use you sense of touch.

All of the senses are important because if you don’t have the sense of hear, you won’t be able to hear the important sounds. For example, if a deaf man is walking on the street and the person doesn’t know that a car is coming straight at him and then the person will probably get hurt. If you don’t have the sense of smell then you won’t be able to smell stuff like poison and you might think that it is juice. If you don’t have the sense of taste, then whatever you eat, you will not be able to taste it and if you can’t taste it then you will not have likes or dislikes. If you don’t have sense of touch you won’t be able to feel what you are touching. If you can’t feel what you are touching then you might touch something that is not good for you. These are all of the things that make a person with one or more sense missing life difficult.
