Evolution of Human Body

Early people gradually became less like apes and more like humans.

The first human appears on Earth around three and a half million years ago in Africa. Some scientists believe that we descended from “Ape” like creatures who lived in forests on trees. Our journey since then has been very long. From the ape-like creatures who used to dwell on trees to the beautiful human we are today. Since we came into existence, our body has been evolving or changing to make us better.

This change that occurs is known as evolution. It is because of evolution that we have become intelligent and can walk upright on two legs. The most complete man-ape skeleton was of an “Australopithecus” and it was named ‘Lucy’. The modern “Homo sapiens” are our direct ancestors, they lived about 100,000 years ago.
