The word organic and inorganic refers to substances that contain one or more carbon or hydrogen atoms. The compounds that are created as a fusion of carbon and other substances are referred to as organic. It is not a surprise that the larges group of compounds is those composed of carbon and hydrogen. It has been estimated that there are at least 1,000,000 known organic compounds. On the other hand, the word inorganic means a compound with two or more substances other than carbon or hydrogen. Inorganic compounds include polymers are silicones, silanes, silicates, and borates.

This is where the term organic foods are derived from; the fact that organic foods are not grown with any fertilizer, pesticides or insecticides and because the only substances it uses, organic substances, are those which are found in the plant naturally. Organic foods are thought to be saver than inorganic foods because they are usually the victims to severe spraying of insecticides, pesticides and fertilizer which may affect the quality and safety of the food( This includes the usage of antibiotics or a growth hormone medicine in animals that produce mean and eggs. Anyone rational would think twice before devouring food sprayed with a solution that is supposed to kill. Is the cleaning on the food enough to wash away the chemicals on the plant; usually not.

Nowadays, after realizing that some people suffer from illnesses or allergies caused by the insecticides, pesticides or the kind of fertilizer that is used., many people have set up small businesses bound to sell only organic foods thus decreasing the chances of the outbreak of illnesses. In contrast, inorganic food is now cleansed more thoroughly decreasing the chances of any more illnesses.

Scientists believe that the additional substances to the plants also cause abnormal mutations to the genes of the plant and also the repellents used may sometimes attract another kind of animal. Organic food may not be for you but we are surrounded by organic and inorganic substances and what can we do bet live with it.
