The Rising Sea Level Myth

For years scientists would have us believe that the sea level are rising – what if I could prove them wrong.

The Rising Sea Myth.

The scientist whom support the theory of the ice caps melting and the seas rising by 30 metres, will have you believe that this is fact; and will occur when the polar ice caps melt.

Cue panic in the streets – THE END OF THE WORLD IS NIGH”

Let us just calm down and look at the fact and then consider.

The North pole and the surrounding IS melting – No argument from me, I have seen the satellite images. However, here is a fact or two that nobody ever considers.

Read carefully and try yourself.

Ok. The North polar region is all ice, the ice is not on land – there is no land at the north pole. The ice is floating in the Artic ocean at the north pole.

Ice floats – try this. The next time you have a glass of anything cold, I dunno Coke, orange or milk, do something. Before you put your drink in the glass, put in 4 ice cubes and then fill the glass to the top with your beverage – right to the top, to the lip. You will notice that the ice cubes are now floating at the top. I want you to leave you drink until the ice cubes melt completely.

What do you think is going to happen? You going to come back and find a pool of water around your glass?

No, this is not going to happen- it is all about displacement. Once the Ice cubes melt, the drink will neither rise or fall- try it! This is what going to happen to the North pole.

The South pole is another story- I need to continue my research. Suffice to say, the amount of water to go into the sea because of the Ice Caps melting, as now been halved thanks to my little experiment- so it is not as bad a they predict

For the record, I read a 1970s science book once: it predicted an ICE AGE, NOT global warming etc……. MMMM.
