So, if you’re reading this as a junior high school to high school child and you aren’t sure if you want to join this nerd club in school. JOIN IT. Science Olympiad isn’t something for nerds. It is a high-quality team of people who enjoy math, science, and learning. Many things are hands on like labs and tech. It is a great way to have fun and its also a good way to go for grants and bonds. (If you’re good at a particular event) These bonds can reach up to $50,000 and can go towards a good college. Participating means you will be able to add it onto you’re college resume. People in 47 states compete at regional, state and national level competitions. The better you and you’re school are at it, the higher your chances are. Also, it is a fun way to go to new places like other states and areas. You can visit the national website at soinc.org where you can find a local state website which will show regional information.
