How the Earth is Round and Not Flat
Proving how the earth is round and cannot possibly be flat.
The earth is round. ok? Its round. now I understand that people have beliefs, but im gonna tell you why the earth is round, and cannot possible be flat. First off, theres gravity. If it was flat then there could be no gravity. It’s because of its round structure that we dont just float away into space. Also, people that belief that the earth is flat, at least those that are seriouse about it, belief that there is a huge ice wall all around the earth. How did we not find this wall you ask?
The government wont let us see it. They say that the government guards the wall of ice and if you get to close they do whatever it takes to stop you. They say that our government spends BILLIONS of dollars to keep this wall a secret. But if that were true, we would be in some SERIOUSE debt. Also if our government is guarding it, why didn’t we hear about the wall by foreign countries? America alone cannot surround the whole world JUST to keep a wall secret. Also if there was a wall of ice, then if would be directly blocking our water from falling off the edge of the world. This would mean that our water would all just freeze up. For somthing that big to remain frozen it would have to be extremely cold meaning that our waters would just freeze from being directly connected to the wall. Another thing is airplanes. If there is a huge wall, how is it that no aircraft has spotted it.
Also people that belive the earth is flat, also belive it is the center of the universe. They think that everything revolves around earth. They also think that earth is going upwards and not spinning. They say that we have been pretty lucky not to have run into any kind of large asteroid or even another planet. But my favorite is my skydiving theory. If the earth was flat and we, as a planet, are goin up wards and there is no gravity, how is it that sky divers rush to the ground with the wind visably very powerful when gravity brings you down from such a height. If there was no gravity and the earth is slowly going up, then a sky diver would just sit there, levitating and watching the earth slowly come up to him/her. There would also be no use for a parachute.
The coriolis effect wouldnt even exist, or be takin into account. For those that dont know, the Coriolis effect is what happens when you throw or shoot somthing and where you were aiming is now at a different position because the spin of the earth. So basically everything but the object in the air is rotating, making it land in a different position. Sorry if you dont get what i just said, just google it if you are interested. The also believe that the photos of the earth are photoshot which would cost billions of dollars just to “go to space, take a picture of a “flat earth” and photoshoot it so that it is round just to fool people. Thank you for reading this long but hopefully interesting article. I am not trying to prove anyone wrong, but to try to point something out to the people that believe that the earth is flat. But it is more a belief so i cant decide for you . its up to you.

You make a lot of assumptions.
Given the name of this domain, you’d think you would actually use more logical and critical thinking, as well as some facts.
And even be able to spell and use grammar properly.

1. i did go to the flat earth society and i posted this on a forum.
2. i got this information from a friend who USED to know that the world is round but the flat earth society changed his mind and he told me all of this. sorry if you dont agree with me but this is what i heard.
3. I was in a hurry to type this so there are some grammer errors. My bad.
4. this isnt a theory, this is just saying how the earth cant possibly be flat. its just a dumb excuse to try to make fun of people that think somthing different.

there i fixed most of the errors. at least i hope so. i was in a rush so i just quickly wrote this whole article in like 10-15 mins. and i rushed through fixing the errors to because i had to work on somthing else. and yes, i dont worry about capitals in comments like this. im just typing it quick.

The Earth IS round, but i don’t think the Flat Earth believers will change their mind until they have each individually been taken into space and shown so.

I know. If only one of the “flat earth believers” would go into space to see the earth. the thing is though, they dont want to go into space because they dont want to be proven wrong and be laughed at by the whole world. But if they would just realize and think about how the earth cannot POSSIBLEY be flat, then they would understand that it is round, no questions asked. But what ever.

oh my gosh. your all fighting over whether the earth is round or flat ? does it matter, who cares what people think. some people believe differently to others. so what ? we’re all different, unique people. maybe its their belief or something or rather that the earth is round/flat. so what. anyone can think whatever they like. that doesn’t change whether or not the earth is flat/round. so stop fighting over something so pathetic. it is definately true that the earth is round because of the satalitte ( spelling ??? ) pictures have shown it to be round. plus there is much better evidence to it being round rather than flat. end of, (:
