Researchers found that students who bring drinking water into the exam room got an average 5% higher than students who do not carry water. Research conducted by the University of East London and Universuty of Westminster is also found that older students are more likely to bring drinking water into the exam room.

The researchers studied 447 psychology students at the University of East London. 71 of them were foundation year or a base class to prepare for college, another 225 people were first year students and 151 the rest are second-year student.
