Artex and Asbestos?
Asbestos was marketed under several brands, but the brand has become known generically was Artex. Artex, was so often used to hide cracks in plaster walls and behind a thick swirling decorative patterns and designs crushed.
The problem is that, until mid-1980, Artex has been produced by using asbestos. The material delivered in 1930 and the name is intended to mean artistic texture. If a coating Artex in a house or other building of more than twenty years, extreme caution should be taken to deal with it. Artex removal can be difficult to follow very strongly to the underlying materials. In the past, including professional builders and decorators sanded to remove the dots and create a flat surface can be painted. This is a potentially deadly.
