Three Amazing Facts About Flowers
Here are some amazing facts about Flowers.
Symbolism
Not every flower has meaning, but there are some that do.
- Red roses represent the symbol of love, and beauty, that’s why people send Red Roses on Valentines’ day!
- Poppies are a symbol of consolation in time of death. Everyone around the world must wear a Red Poppy on the 11th day of the 11th month and must be silent at 11am.
- Irises and Lilies are used as a symbol referring to “Resurrection or Life”. It is also associated with stars (sun) and its petals blooming/shining.
- Daisies are a symbol of innocence.
- White Roses are the symbol of death in some cultures, but this only refers to some cultures, so you might see a white rose being given to someone once in a while.

What Do We Do With Flowers?
Many of you already know that we give flowers to people we love and care about. Some people might even give a dead rose to someone they hate, but its very unheard of.
Other than giving or receiving flowers, some people draw or paint the flowers.

Attraction

Things in your Yard, Garden, or even someone in your house, can be attracted by flowers. Bugs are, obviously, attracted to colorful flowers the most, but night creatures, such as bats, get attracted to white flowers. Humans, or people also get attracted by flowers.
