As reported, the creators of innovative technology – Stephen Manen of the Swiss Higher Technical School of Zurich and the artist Aline Weill of the Zurich University of the Arts.

Flower pots are placed on the device iRobot Create – flat cylinders at the wheels by the American company iRobot. The device calculates the movement of plants algorithm based on the testimony, removed the light and sound sensors. Sensors are not only directed “plants on wheels” to water and light, but also record the noise from the passing people to avoid the collision pots with them.

Now the developers of this technology have positioned it as an art installation. However, they do not exclude the occurrence in the future are based on their experiences of mobile gardens – for those gardeners who are not averse to shift part of caring for the plants to the plants themselves.
