Does any Plant Move From Place to Place?

Did you know that there is a plant which can move from one place to another? Yes, there is an unusual plant which is found in the desert area of Western America.

This plant is known as the resurrection plant and with a reason. The resurrection plant has green fern like leaves and grows like any other normal plant.

However, when water is not available, it withdraws its roots, dries up and looks like a brown ball for dried up twigs.

However, it is not dead. Since it is light and ball shaped, it is rolled by the wind to far off places till finally it finds water.

Once it has reached wet ground, it sinks its roots firmly inside and grows. It is “resurrected” again in a new place.
