6. Goliath Catfish, the largest Amazon Catfish, is one of the world’s largest freshwater fish. It feeds on fish and monkeys. The largest Goliath Catfish on record weighed 475 lbs with a length of 8 feet 8 inches with a girth of 5 feet 3 inches.
8. Piraiba, other name for Goliath Catfish, are blind. They use their whiskers for sensor to sense its prey.
