The Ever Changing Moon

Full Moons are culmination points of your emotional journey throughout all those different inner facets throughout the month of one lunar cycle. Full Moon means the uttermost reflection of the light giving energy of the Sun into deepest crevices of your inner world.

The Moon is constantly orbiting the Earth. As it moves, it reflects the light of the Sun too. We can only see the illuminated parts of the Moon each day. These portions are called phases of the Moon.

Although, the Moon is a round body, it appears to change its shape. This happens because the sunlit area of the Moon changes every day.

This produces a monthly cycle of the Moon’s phases as it waxes from the New Moon to the Full Moon and wanes back to New Moon. When the Moon comes between the Earth and the Sun, the side that we see is I complete darkness. Hence, it appears to be invisible. This is called a ‘New Moon’. When the Moon is beyond the Earth and the Sun, the side facing us appears to be fully illuminated. This is described as a ‘Full Moon’.
