Awesome pictures...
I agree with all who confirmed my suspicion that God is real.
How is it that you look at this creation and do not believe in a creator....?
Is there one?
I certainly believe so and undoubtedly there is no word standing against that.
I hope everyone will enjoy God's creation as I do...

A wonderful collection of space images. Your additional data along with each picture was especially welcomed, and informative. I've held a long term fascination with astronomy, and in all the stuff I've read, I have yet to come across anywhere else the Valles Marineris theory that it "was created within a very short space of time by a large electric force sweeping the surface of Mars."

Wow, what a vivid theory. Thank you for sharing that piece of information. Do you know anything about who first proposed that theory? I'd sure like to read more about it.

It makes me want to brainstorm about what might be the possible source of this huge electric force. Electric storms on Mars don't appear to be quite that fierce. So the source would have to be something much larger, and perhaps of a high technological nature, which naturally brings to mind a massive and highly compressed electromagnetic beam weapon, cutting a great scare on a planetary scale. A "science fictiony" idea to be sure, but if the case, then what we have in Valles Marineris is ancient physical evidence of a planetary changing war on Mars that left the planet scared. A bizarre thought, but a provocative one just the same.
