Sweet Solar System!

Sun is the brightest star,
That roams the sky so far!
Sharing the light and heat,
Running without the feet!

Mercury’s close to sun,
Too much heat is no fun,
It’s quickest to revolve,
But it does not evolve!

Venus, smaller than earth,
Considering the girth;
Earth and Venus are twins,
But don’t have equal spins!

Earth is a deep blue sphere,
Where life thrives without fear,
It holds water that feeds,
To cater to life’s needs!

The fourth planet is Mars,
So red like distant stars!
Seen in sky, dusk and dawn!
It is red in its tone!

Jupiter is so large,
Other planets cannot barge!
With this huge gentle giant,
Having patterns, rampant!

Saturn has many rings,
May use them when he sings;
The orange floating sphere,
Plays skipping everywhere!

Uranus is ice giant,
As it has gas variant!
This is a frozen ball,
With methane clouds et al!

Eighth planet is Neptune,
Spinning in deep blue tone,
Since ocean is so blue,
Poseidon’s Neptune too!

Pluto may be a dwarf,
He needs a huge scarf!
May catch cold and could cough!
As from sun, he’s far off!

Solar System is here,
Which changes forever!
Meteors visits from far;
And collide to form scar!

Inside Milky Way jar,
Like ropes tied with a car;
Planets revolve Sun-star,
In orbits in thin air!

* Scientists may disagree with the number, but it is quite impossible to imagine a Solar System, without the tiny dwarf Pluto patrolling the external boundaries!
