Planet Made of Diamond Discovered!
This is about the new discovery of planet made of diamond, discovered by astronomers!
IF the diamand is the girl’s best friend, then for sure your girlfriend would wanted to be on this planet! A planet made of solid diamond has been discovered by group of astronomers from Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia, according to the report by New Scientist.
(
This spectacular planet is orbiting around a pulsar (a highly magnetized, rotating neutron star that emits a beam of electromagnetic radiation) about 4000 light years away and barely under 6000 kilometers in diameter and mass roughly equal to the Jupiter.
Although the planet is too far away to be seen through a conventional telescope, astronomers were able to infer its existence by observing periodic flickers in the pulsar it is orbiting. Those minor flickers represent the gravitational tug and pull of an orbiting body; a startling find since few pulsars have been discovered with planets in orbit according to the report published in New Scientist.
Such kind of planet of such a small size with the mass of Jupiter under its intense pressure from its own gravity, would crystallize. If that planet was also composed primarily of carbon (a likely scenario for this planet, since it is probably a stripped-down star), that would make it a diamond planet.
The following video illustrates the science behind the discovery:
Well guess, one must has once imagined how much this awe inspiring planet would cost here on earth, even human being could a catch on this, they would cut it down into pieces for our own sake!

My mom should be booking her rocket to get to this planet as soon as possible as she adores diamonds.

Surely it’s not a planet made of real diamonds, otherwise the technology for travelling in space will jump up to the highest levels in order to reach this planet and chop it up to pieces…
