The moon is earth’s nearest neighbor in space.

1)      Is about quarter of the size of earth!

2)      Does not have a smooth surface like earth.

3)      Has no water!

4)      Have many mountainous areas, whish some peaks as high as mountain Everest!

5)      Has dark patches known as seas, because many years ago astrometry thought they contained water!

Did you know your weight on the moon would be different from your weight on earth?

Your weight on the moon will be one sixth of your weight on earth. So, if you weight 30 kg on earth, you will weigh only 5kg on the moon!
